| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | THL will purchase one (1) equipment for monitoring microbial targets such as bacteria, viruses, and protozoa from nucleic acids extracted from environmental and water samples (wastewater, surface water, and drinking water). The aim is to complete the procurement process, delivery and setup, user training and final validation of the equipment before end of the year 2023. THE REQUIRED MINIMUM FEATURES A digital PCR equipment (dPCR/ddPCR) intended for the absolute quantification of gene targets in nucleic acid templates, and that is suitable for analysing target microbes in the environmental sample material. IN ADDITION, THE FOLLOWING FEATURES ARE REQUESTED IF AVAILABLE Equipment capable of multiplexing. QUESTIONS Below are the questions to which the Request for Information seeks answers concerning the equipment described in the description of the subject of the procurement. You may answer all or only some of the questions. Answers may be free-form and are without prejudice to the content of any tender. 1. What are the characteristics/features of the equipment? What is hands-on time (PCR template loading to obtain data)? Does the device have compacted all partitioning, thermocycling, or droplet reader? Can you provide brochures of the equipment? 2. Does the equipment have any warranty guarantee? What is the procedure and time requirement for repairments? 3. How frequently the equipment needs maintenance, and what are the maintenance costs? 4. What is the list price of the equipment? What is included in this price? Is there some additional costs or parts that are required prior having a set-up up and running? 5. What is the delivery time of the equipment after the customer has ordered it from your company? 6. What kind of reagents and plasticware is used with the equipment, e.g. is it in plate format (e.g.- 96-plate, or others), and what is the reagent type (e.g. TaqMan, SYBR green or EvaGreen chemistry)? Is the equipment open for reagents from other vendors? 7. Can the analysis software to handle run files be installed for free on several workstations? 8. What kind of operation guides for this equipment and its software are available? What kind of training does the vendor offer for the users after purchase? Does the vendor provide a user guide? 9. What is the operating system for the analysis computer (e.g. win10)? Is an analysis computer for the instrument included or needed? 10. Are there free updates available for analysis software in use to handle run files? What about upgrades to i.e. win11? POSSIBLE FURTHER MARKET DIALOGUE After processing this Request for Information and the responses received, THL may also ask respondents to the Request for Information for comments on the content of the subsequent, actual Call for Tenders. Such comments are not necessary for the submission of a tender. If a subsequent opportunity to comment is opened, it will be opened to all respondents to the request for information. In addition THL may also organise meetings via Teams with the respondents. Supplier may also register for any subsequent round of comments only, even if you do not wish to respond to the questions in this Request for Information at this stage. |
