Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology (LUT) School of Engineering Science (LENS) has expertise in Separation Processes from lab to pilot scales. Recently, LUT has planned to focus on gas separation research to turn air emissions into value-added products. For this aim, LUT desires to extend its lab infrastructure to include research related to gas processing using the reaction set up. The proposed set up will be used for the catalytic gas phase reactions such as that used in CO2 utilization, including but not limited to hydrogenation, and Fisher-Tropsch. This set-up should be able at laboratory scale capable of operate safely in a container type lab space and should fulfil all the requirements described in the minimum criteria. The desired experimental set-up should be capable of performing gas phase reactions at high temperature and high pressure using different catalysts. The set-up should mix desired gas composition from pure gases and vapors for the feed stream, measure and control the flow rate of the feed stream and calculates the reaction performance using input/output data. The set up should measure, temperature, pressure, and composition of different streams and of different units (such as reactor, or separator). |
