| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | Helsinki Regional Transport Authority (HSL) is developing its bus service procurement procedures. The objective is to secure the competitive situation in the bus service market of the capital region, in compliance with procurement legislation. Efforts have been made to secure the competitive situation, when necessary, by imposing constraints limiting the volume of services which one tenderer may win in a given round of tendering. Moreover, HSL is making provisions to significantly increase electric bus services and is striving to improve the abilities of operators to offer buses equipped with different charging technologies. HSL will hold a dialogue allowing potential bidders for bus services to express their opinions on the procedures used and to discuss potential development needs and measures. The aim is to gain views of operators in the field that can be used to prepare for future tendering rounds. |
