| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | The spectrometric handheld radiation identification device and spectrometric radiation portal monitor are required to fulfill the latest standards set to radiation identification devices and follow the requirements of the national radiation detection architecture. The devices should detect both gamma and neutron radiation. Three different types of portal monitors are needed: pedestrian, road vehicle and rail vehicle. Both the handheld devices and portal monitors are required to support extensive reach back capabilities: secured and standardized mobile measurement data transfer between the front-line customs officer at the BCP and the radiation and nuclear safety expert, remote and real time monitoring of the device measurement data and built-in interfaces for device integration with existing radiation monitoring systems and reach back of Finnish Customs. |
