| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | Digital slide scanner with image analysis software Description of the system A digital brightfield slide scanner (upgradeable with a fluorescence module) with an image analysis software for analyzing the histopathology in the scans. The slide scanner provides a functional system for scanning tissue sections on glass slides and viewing the scans. The scanner will be used for research purposes. The slides to be scanned are loaded in the scanner in racks. Scanner will automatically scan and convert the slides to digital data. The scanning program detects the tissue section on the slide and automatically sets the focus points for scanning. The instrument will be part of the Biocenter Oulu core facilities at University of Oulu and is to be installed in the laboratory at the Biocenter Oulu premises at the Kontinkangas campus. |
