| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | The intended scope of the instrument is harvesting of microalgae for various research projects. The instrument should be able operate in a highly automated manner with minimal labor input during harvesting. The system should be able to draw the cultivation volume into the separator, and the clarified water back into the cultivation tank, and also flush out the concentrated biomass with the option of doing this with cultivation medium from a separate tank, in the case we would like to do this with salt water instead of tap-water. As we will also cultivate algae in saltwater the separator should be able to work without corrosion problems with marine water, with proper cleaning right after use. |
