| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | Finland is planning to rollout radio based ETCS signalling for the entire rail network, and the first RFQs are planned to be sent during the year 2023. The purpose of the RFI is collect initial information for ETCS and other relevant topics for Finnish Digirail program before planned RFQs. The goal of the Digirail project is to introduce a modern radio network-based train control system for the entire Finnish rail network by the 2040s. The European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) will therefor replace the old Finnish signalling system in accordance with EU requirements. Request for Information (RFI) consists in six parts, and it is up to the supplier to decide which parts (or all) it wants to answer based on its products and interests for the Finnish ETCS rollout. The parts are: Part 1: Country wide TMS Part 2: ETCS wayside products Part 3: FRMCS Part 4: Test laboratory Part 5: Cybersecurity Part 6: Cyber security solutions and services More information about the parts 1-6 describes in the document "DigiRata RFI Summer 2022" which will be available to anyone interested in it and the contracting authority sends it by e-mail. |
