Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | University of Oulu, Future Manufacturing Research group (FMT), requests tenders for High Cycle Fatigue Testing Machine (hereafter called HCFTM). Purpose of the investment is to test fatigue strength of metal materials in high cycle area for research. The machine complements existing equipment at use in FMT laboratory. This investment is related to M3D-project. HCFTM will be used for research and learning purposes. Primary need is to do material testing on small metal samples. Large number of samples are to be fatigue tested and so fast test frequency is required to go through the tests in timely manner. Tensile testing is also needed, and plastic materials are likely to be tested with the HCFTM in the future. Operating principle of the machine is electrodynamic (linear motor-based system). Electrodynamic systems are emerging technology in testing machines and gives us added value for research. Expected value of the acquisition 90.000-160.000 € (VAT 0 %) also includes any options and other unspecified additional acquisitions occur during the acquisition. |
