Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | To support its fundamental research, the Nanoscience Center (NSC) of the University of Jyväskylä is looking to acquire a new Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) with an infrared microscope. The aim is to use these to measure transmission and reflection spectra and images of a various range of samples (solids, liquids, nanofabricated devices, …) with excellent sensitivity, spectral resolution, signal-to-noise ratio, and reproducibility. The spectral range should first and foremost cover the entire mid-IR and should extend into the far- and near-IR as much as possible. Measuring of spectra and images should be rapid and easily programmable to allow, e.g., straightforward 3D mapping of large samples or time-based/kinetic measurements. Both devices should have a long lifetime with stable performance throughout time and should also be easily maintainable. FTIR sample compartment should be large enough and compatible with a wide range of commercial and home-made measurement accessories. (e.g. ATR modules and custom sample mounts). |
