| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | The energy dispersive X-ray analyzer (EDXA, EDS) is a type of instrument commonly used on SEMs to be able to analyze the elemental composition of the samples or points of interest on them in addition to taking images on the SEM. With an EDXA it is possible to do different type of analyzes like point, area and linescan analyzes. It is also possible to do x-ray maps of areas and from that data create phase maps. |
