| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | An ultrasound transmit-receive research platform for biomedical imaging and therapy research, hereafter referred to as an ultrasound device. The main components of this ultrasound device are a transmit-receive electronics unit for 128 channels, a computer with a dedicated data acquisition and analysis software for software-based beamforming, and fast data transfer connection that connects the electronics unit and the computer. The ultrasound device is equipped with a replaceable ultrasound transducer adapter where an ultrasound transducer is connected. Transducers of different type and/or different manufacturers are supported. The ultrasound device will be used in research targeting on photoacoustic imaging, ultrasound imaging, and ultrasound therapy. The device must provide raw unprocessed radiofrequency (RF) data independently for each channel. Access to RF data is made easy for the user. Each channel must be independently and easily controllable. The device must be capable for ultrasound measurements, ultrasound imaging, and ultrasound therapy such as high-intensity focused ultrasound surgery (HIFU). The device will be used in laboratory premises. The ultrasound device must also fulfil the requirements given below. The system can be comprised of options fulfilling the device to meet the requirements. The requirements given for the options must be also fulfilled. Fixed binding budget for the complete procurement is 120 960 € (one-hundred and twenty thousand nine-hundred and sixty EURO) including all costs and excluding value added tax. |
