The converter needs to be: - compatible with VLBI (Very-Long-Baseline Interferometry) equipment; - capable of sampling at least six (6) broadband (> 4 GHz) signals from a VLBI receiver in such a way that the outgoing data flow is at least 4 Gbps; - capable of transmitting the output data both via internet (in real time) to correlation centres for correlation and/or to a local storage; and - compatible with requirements of European VLBI Network (EVN), Global Millimeter VLBI Array (GMVA) and International VLBI Service (IVS). The purpose of this notice is to identify and establish contact with suppliers of such a system for further discussion, as part of a market survey prior to possible execution of the procurement. |
