| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | The targeted sectors in France are both BtoB (retailing and food service) and BtoC, including online channels and the market specialist is involved with the players of all these. The market specialist should be able to identify and actively look for market opportunities for Finnish food and beverage industry on the French market through market analysis focusing on the most potential product categories. The market specialist should support Food from Finland team in creating relevant contacts, screening the market potential in selected channels and organizing various promotion events such as retailing or horeca sector campaigns including also online activities. The market specialists should have an extensive experience and knowledge of the French food market, and have a relevant contact network including food sector buyers and importers. The needed market specialist team size is two (2) persons. The market specialist will work directly with Business Finland/Food from Finland team in Finland and in France and prepare action plans together with them. The action plans are defined every six (6) months and updated when needed. Each project to be done is agreed separately with FFF including the definition of targets and the cost estimation. The progress and the results of the projects will be reported regularly in English at the schedule agreed with Business Finland/Food from Finland. The projects can be for example: • Giving professional French market coaching to Business Finland/FFF member companies • Contacting potential retailing chains such as organic retailers, frozen product retailers or others to introduce the Finnish offer and getting feedback of interest, aiming at creating sales leads • Identifying suitable partners on the French market to organize promotion campaigns of Finnish food products (retailers or horeca players) Screening the market potential of a given Finnish product group by market study and interviews or relevant industrial, retailing and horeca contacts (Finnish oats and oat based products, for example) The expected results are the identification market opportunities, the creation of contacts and organising promotion campaigns including reports on results of each project done. The market specialist can also work directly with the Finnish food companies, without any involvement of Business Finland. The requirements of this tender are not applied in that case. |
