| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | VR Transpoint is looking to renew its operational system landscape for Road Transportation with a provider who can support us for a longer time period with a solution which supports - our current operations, - our future needs and - development to react to fast changing business environment. VR Group is a diversified, environmentally friendly and responsible service company operating in the field of travel and logistics. VR Group is owned entirely by the Finnish state. The group primarily operates in Finland, but it also has operations abroad, especially in Russia. Our Group employs 6,300 professionals, with annual net sales of approximately one billion euros. The purpose of our operations is to transport people and freight using customer-oriented solutions that are smooth, safe and environmentally friendly. VR Group comprises three main business areas with operations based around customer segments. The business areas are VR, providing passenger services; VR Transpoint, providing logistics; and VR FleetCare, providing maintenance services. The business areas are supported by the rail traffic unit, the Russia and International Business division, and Corporate Services. Corporate Services are related to finance, personnel, safety and security, the environment, communications and IT services. |
