Hankinnan lyhyt kuvausThe Tenderer is requested to submit a tender for a fully operational Advanced modular rheometer – dynamic mechanical analyzer system. The instrument will be used for rheological characterization and structural analysis of both liquids and solid materials. Typical materials to be tested include but are not limited to paints, coatings, inks, emulsions, pastes, gels, foams, soft films, as well as fiber and mineral composites. The instrument will be used by numerous researchers, and occasionally also by Masters level university students. Therefore, in addition to accuracy, the ease-of-use of the instrument, its software and included instructional materials are important. Due to the large number of different applications being investigated by the university research groups, the upgradeability and application specific measurement accessories will also be evaluated. Usage environment The instrument will be installed initially in Gadolinia building, Porthaninkatu 3, Turku, by the Tender. During the summer 2021, the instrument will be moved to the new Aurum building nearby. The Tenderer must provide guidance on how the move should be done in order to eliminate any risk for damage to the instrument. The instrument will be placed on a vibration free table (size 550 mm x 900 mm). The additional table area needed for computer and parts of the instrument not requiring vibration damping must be given in the tender . Standard laboratory connections for electricity, compressed air, and water are available. An alternative to the UV-curing instrument accessory is to provide interfacing (including software-integrated trigger) to the existing Hönle bluepoint ecocure UV-source (http://cms.hoenle.de/hoenle.de/pdfs/produktbroschueren/en/bluepoint-4-ecocure-e.pdf) More information available upon request.
