| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | Biocenter Oulu (BCO), University of Oulu, seeks an instrument for differential scanning fluorimetry (DSF) measurement without modification of the protein or need to add a dye. With the current procurement BCO seeks also to increase the throughput and minimise sample consumption of protein thermal stability analysis. The instrument will be part of the proteomics and protein analysis core facility infrastructure of BCO. The core facility has an open access policy and the instrumentation and software should be easy to use and maintain and meet the requirements of users from different research and application areas. The instrument will be used (but is not restricted) to measure simultaneously several protein samples under various conditions for testing the effects of ligands or buffer conditions on protein stability. The system has software(s) to control the instrument and to define measurement conditions such as temperature ramp and isothermal stability measurement. The software comes with detailed documentation of all features and software upgrades are made available regularly. The instrument and the software are well suitable for a multi-user environment.
