| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | Fiberlaboratory of Xamk is developing new solutions based on data analysis and new measurements for intelligent control of veneer and fiber processes. This research work will be done in collaboration with leading industrial companies. The main goal of the project is to strengthen bioproduct research and industrial collaboration of Xamk in technology applications of veneer and fiber processes. The project is strongly linked to “Wood-AI – IoT Solutions utilizing Artificial Intelligence in Wood Processing Industry” –project, which has been applied to The Regional Council of South Savo. The action of the projects will purchase measurement devices for research of veneer and fiber processes and so are supported know-how and research of Fiberlaboratory. The actions of the project are divided into four work packages, which include following device purchases and actions: 1. Low field NMR spectrometry, 2. Wet strength analyzer of fiber products, 3. ABES – measurement device and 4. Integration of measurement technology into development environments of bioeconomy in eastern and northern Finland. The concrete results of the project will be new solutions of bioproduct and measurement technologies to the wood and fiber industry. The project will also strengthen knowledge and research of Fiberlaboratory in the area of the measuring technology. The project will support the regional strengths, the development of which will aid in achieving the international spearhead in one of the most evolving market areas of the global business. The project will support sustainable development of industry. The project will also be carried out with international cooperation. |
