Hankinnan lyhyt kuvausSYKE Marine Research Centre (SYKE MRC) aims to purchase a fluorescence plate reader to carry out plankton research. The intended primary scope of the instrument is for measurement of phytoplankton autofluorescence, and plankton enzymatic activities. The instrument should be able to run several plates (e.g. 96 well-plates) automatically, without need for manually changing plates. THE MINIMUM TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE INSTRUMENT (1-13) 1. SYKE MRC requires a versatile and flexible instrument to allow working well plates up to 384 wells per plate. 2. The Instrument works autonomously, running at least 25 plates at the time without the need for changing plates manually. 3. The instrument has an integrated (built-in) temperature control unit with both heating and cooling function. 4. The instrument has 2 injectors, enabling addition of chemicals into the wells, with an option of shaking the plate after injection. 5. The instrument is able to measure both fluorescence and absorption from the wells. 6. Fluorescence is detected at minimum 6 emission and 6 excitation wavelengths, with flexibility in terms of combinations. 7. Technical support for the instrument, including the availability of spare parts, must be guaranteed for 7 years from the purchase. 8. There must be a clearly documented evidence of the functionality of the instrument. Provider need to provide minimum of three references of the instruments of the similar type as requested here. 9. The upper price is approximately 60 000 €. 10. The delivery time is max. 4 months from the order. 11. The instrument has an option to run samples in an altered atmosphere, through gas (CO2 and/or O2) addition. 12 The instrument has an option for integrated camera that would be able to take images from individual wells. 13 The supplier has to have their own in-house service organization that guarantees quick (within a week) response to service requests. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TENDERERS (SELECTION CRITERIA) (14-15) Economic and financial capacity 14 The tenderer has fulfilled obligations relating to the payment of social security contributions, taxes and pension insurance contributions if required by his national legislation. 15 The tenderer is registered in all public registers, such as trade register, preliminary tax register, employer register and VAT register, if required by his national legislation. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE OFFER (16-25) 16 Cost of basic instrument setup and related software (VAT 0%) fulfilling the minimum requirements, accompanied with the documentation that fully describes the proven technical performance of the instrument (i.e. specify how instrument meet the minimum technical requirements given in 1-13). The technical details must be given, at the minimum, with the accuracy required to compare offers. 17 Cost of additional items, like accessories required in items 11 & 12. Cost of most immediate spare parts that may be purchased along the instrument, if available. Cost of training, if available. Cost of extended warranty, if available. (All VAT 0%) 18 Estimate of annual running costs, excluding chemicals (assume daily use) (VAT 0%). 19 Estimated cost of spare parts required within the first three year period (assume daily use) (VAT 0%). 20 Estimated annual service costs (VAT 0%). 21 Estimated costs for delivery, duties and insurances. 22 Information on guarantee. 23 Information on the availability and cost of technical support and availability of spare parts in future. 24 A reference list of the instruments in use of the similar type as offered here. 25 Estimated delivery time. The offers should be in effect until the end of December 2019. The upper limit for the offer is approximately EUR 60 000 (VAT 0%).
