| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | The subject of the procurement is a Service for an automatic immunochemical method for the quantitative measuring of human haemoglobin in faeces samples. The method will be used for colorectal cancer screening of Finnish population carried out by the Client. The samples will be analysed in the Client’s premises on a round-the clock (24/7) basis. The Service includes the right to use the Device, middleware, the Supplies needed in measuring of haemoglobin, the Maintenance Service as well as other services defined in the call for tenders. The Device, Supplies and middleware used in the Service and provided by the Supplier are Suppliers´ property. The Client will invite individuals to participate in the screening. A minimum of 10,000 individuals a year will be invited to participate in the screening. In 2019 estimated number of individuals invited to participate in the screening is 26 000. The Client will enclose a sample tube with the invitation sent to an individual invited to the screening. Individuals who fail to respond to the invitation within the given time will first be sent a reminder and, should the individual request it from the Client, a new sample tube. The number of individuals invited to participate in the screening may increase during the term of agreement. The number of individuals to be invited to the screening is an estimate and not binding on the Client. The Service’s pricing principle is compensation for use, based on which the Supplier charges the Client for the Service according to: “EUR per sample tube” pricing. The pricing model must include all costs arising from the Service and includes all the Supplies needed per analys of one sample tube The Client undertakes to order a minimum of 10,000 sample tubes during each agreement year. An agreement year is equal to a calendar year (e.g. 1 January–31 December 2019). The participation rate is expected to be at least 70 per cent. Client orders Supplies (other than sample tubes) according to the number of faecal samples returned to the Client from the screenees. However Supplier has to be ready to provide Supplies (other than sample tubes) for all the sample tubes Client has ordered. |
