| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | One (1 pcs) GC-O/MS instrument will be acquired for the Department of Food and Nutrition at the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Helsinki. GC-O/MS in an instrument where a combination of a gas chromatograph and quadrupole mass spectrometer is complemented with an olfactory detection port. This instrument entity enables chromatographic separation of compounds and their simultaneous sniffing and mass spectrometric identification. Additionally, the instrument includes an autosampler, which is capable of performing automated solid-phase micro extraction (SPME). Analysis of volatile compounds from food samples should be possible with the acquired GC-O/MS. One supplier will be chosen from whom one GC-O/MS will be acquired. |
