| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | The experimental research infrastructures of Bio and Circular Economy (Faculty of Engineering and Science, Tampere University) consist of experimental setups and analytical laboratories for studying thermochemical processes, catalytic reforming, biorefineries and hydrometallurgy, biogas and carbon dioxide utilization, bioelectrochemical systems, water engineering and micropollutants, molecular biology, and synthetic biology. The high-sensitive in vivo imaging system will enable bioluminescence and fluorescence detection from living cells. This offers new possibilities for studies on engineered microbes, their communities and engineered metabolism while they are growing. |
