| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | Tampere Microscopy Center (TMC) is the university-level infrastructure. It provides instruments, training, and services for researchers at Tampere University (Finland) and through research collaboration also for other research institutes and industry. TMC's goal is to train users to work independently and offer support to help them become experts. TMC offers versatile selection of instruments. On the webpages (https://www.tuni.fi/en/research/tampere-microscopy-center), you can visit TMC premises virtually and learn more about the instruments and methods available at TMC facilities. In-situ liquid cell heating holder system will enable high-resolution TEM imaging of samples in flowing/static liquids. This offers an entirely new avenues for materials characterization at TMC: nanoparticle and alloy formation, electrochemistry and corrosion phenomena, and biological systems can be studied inside the transmission electron microscope (TEM) in their native liquid environments in real-time. |
