| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | Information request: VTT is looking for a potential service contractor to provide the maintenance service for liquid chromatography (LC) instruments, mass spectrometry (MS) instruments and for some other detectors. The instruments are used for research purposes in Espoo, Finland. All instruments are manufactured by Waters. The maintenance service shall cover the following equipment: Acquity UPLC instruments, HPLC Alliance instruments, additional HPLC pumps, mass spectrometry systems (Waters Synapt G2-S, QTof Premium as well as Xevo TQS and Xevo TQ-XS triple quadrupole instruments), fluorescent and RI detectors. The required maintenance level depends on the equipment. There are currently two different levels for the service needs: 1) Preventive, yearly maintenance of LC and MS systems as well as other detectors including replacement of normal wear and maintenance parts; 2) Total assurance maintenance for LC instruments including supply and installation of all replacement parts, service labour and travel costs are required for the repair of nonfunctioning LC instrument to restore the level of performance required. VTT expects short response time for the repair service. In order to maintain the operational reliability of the equipment, only the equipment manufacturer's (Waters) original replacement parts are allowed. All service engineers must be trained and certified by the equipment manufacturer (Waters). The training and certification of the service engineers must cover all the instruments mentioned above.
