| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | The procurement was described in detail in the call for tenders material and it appendices. The media communications Solution must be offered as a SaaS (Software as a Service) that is ready to be implemented in Yle’s environment with little customization. Solution shall be pre-existing and in production use. In the first place the Solution will be a tool for Yle’s Marketing and Communications department. Most importantly it should service the end users, internal or external, the best way possible. Yle’s goal for the procurement is to replace the multi system architecture with one modern solution that provides the functionalities the legacy systems provide but also new functionalities to improve media communications quality for internal and external users. The solution should be easy to use for different user roles, internal or external. It should have modern possibilities to integrate or extract data via APIs. The system should be able to handle different production data related to radio channels, linear television and VOD/AOD media. The Solution should provide more automation to for example picture and media association to program data. Internal users should be able to manage program publishing integrated from Yle’s production systems. They should also be able to write short articles where they can highlight upcoming programs. The solution should support user categories that can be used to target different press audiences and materials or articles to them. |
