| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | The object of the tender process is an inverted fluorescence microscope and upright fluorescence microscope or their hybrid (later also “Equipment”). The equipment must fulfil the minimum requirements and technical specifications listed in Annex 1. A fluorescence microscope is an optical microscope that uses fluorescence instead of, or in addition to, scattering, reflection, and attenuation or absorption, to study the properties of organic or inorganic substances. Upright microscopes have objectives placed above the stage where samples are put; inverted microscopes have objectives below the stage where samples are put. Fluorescence microscope will be used for R&D of biosensors and microfluidics in various application areas, e.g., medical, environmental, optics, food, and veterinary diagnostics, to develop rapid point-of-care tests (e.g., microarrays, lateral flow assays, biosensors, and biochips).
