| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | Aalto University School of Chemical Engineering, Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems is conducting research on the stability and phase changes of biomaterials upon thermal impact. We seek a hyphenated device combining thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) coupled with a quadrupole mass spectrometer (MS) to measure simultaneously the mass loss and heat flux during heating (and cooling) of foremost (but not exclusively) biomass samples and analyse the volatilized compounds in terms of their m/z.
