| Hankinnan lyhyt kuvaus | Data analytics is of strategic importance for Aalto and on national level, since it enables management by data, AI (Artificial Intelligence) science and IoT (Internet of Things) data repository and thus provides direct solutions to Aalto strategic ambitions to be a world class University. A competent strategic partner can support the analytics development needs for unstructured data and will improve substantially the possibilities to meet the needs of the management of Aalto for accurate and complete reporting. Industry level operations of AI related capabilities can be provided to enable science projects a data hosting and sharing platform. It will also provide a data related innovation support hub function to realize advanced analytical requests. The objective for ITS (Aalto IT Services), the main partner of operations within Aalto, is through this tendering process to find a competent long-term partner to fulfil Aalto level need for developing and improving the analytics competence of mainly unstructured data within Aalto. The partner should also be capable of combining unstructured and structured data for analytics purposes. The partner will and can provide technology, tools and competence to guide and teach Aalto specialists to manage data. The partner has experience and skills in data pseudonymization and anonymization. The partner solution however must not create or maintain a lock-in that constrains development or data use and sharing either through IPR, licensing, multiplexing, proprietary software and/or coding practices. It should also be noted that Aalto as a University processes information of national importance as part of its assignment to the society and has obligations as a public organization that it needs to fulfil. These obligations are not to be compromised by the partner's actions or solutions. |
