"Only one instrument of what we saw could meet all our needs. That was Olympus VS200 presented by Oy G.W.Berg & Co Ab. The Olympus VS-200 has a unique balance of versatility, optical quality, ease of use, software and technical support. It allows whole slide imaging (WSI) of regular 1\"x 3\" size slides, macro 2\" x 3\" size slides, as well as 3\" x 4\" and 4\" x 5\" slides. It allows the use of six different microscope objectives from 2x to 100x, including support for oil or silicone objectives. It can image in polarized light, brightfield, fluorescence in a wide list of spectra, it automatically reads barcodes, has good scan speed, and software support for downstream use of images. There is much more that can be said about the VS-200, but of the scanner manufacturer's who responded to our call to make presentations, it is the only one that provides this level of versatility and quality.",
