"Mets\u00e4 Pavilion, Finland\u2019s National Hospitality House for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be built in the premises of the Embassy of Finland, Tokyo. The pavilion will open in the end of June and after the Tokyo 2020 games, it will operate as a versatile event venue until end of 2020.\n\nThe wooden pavilion elements are built in Finland and transported in sea containers to Yokohama port. The elements will be stored temporarily in a nearby warehouse and then transported to the Embassy of Finland according to the construction site schedule by trucks. According to preliminary plans the actual construction site will begin in January 2020. The installation of the pavilion will be executed flexibly together with transportation of the elements and the installation is estimated to begin week 10 (first week of March), 2020. The pavilion needs to be finalized by the end of May 2020.\n\nThe procurement consists of the whole construction process of Mets\u00e4 pavilion including all the necessary work required to achieve the agreed finished result, such as construction work, MEP construction and carpentry work all the way to finishing work, materials and needed staff & equipment. The content of the construction process is described in more detail in Annex 1 and in annexes 5 - 17.\n"
