"Fingrid Oyj, the Finnish national transmission system operator, is initiating a procurement process for Refurbishment project of two 400 kV fixed series capacitors (FSCs) at Vuolijoki 400\/110\/20 kV substation. The substation locates approximately 35 km from Kajaani, Finland.\n\nThe main scope of supply includes renewal of duplicated control and protection\nsystems for both FSCs. In addition smaller refurbishment works for platform equipment, ladders, cranes, outdoor lightning, disconnectors etc. are included. The project will be purchased on turnkey basis. The procurement includes also Maintenance Support Services for three years + three optional years after the delivery. Intended project delivery time is May 2019 - December 2020.\n\nProcurement will be done according to Finnish legislation concerning public procurements in energy sector (in particular, the Act on Public Procurement\nconcerning Units Operating within the field of Water and Energy Service as well as\nTraffic and Postal Service (1398\/2016). The procurement method is the negotiating\nmethod.\n\nFingrid Oyj will announce a notice in EU Official paper for public procurement declaring prequalification stage opened and requesting interested contractors to apply for prequalification. After receiving these applications from interested companies Fingrid Oyj will select the candidates based on the selection criteria set out and invite accepted companies to submit the tenders.\n\nFingrid will send the tender documents, including detailed information on the scope and contents of the contract, specifications, requirements, award criteria etc, only to qualified tenderers, preliminary in March 2019. The exact date will be informed later. Fingrid reserves the right to reject all the tenders."
