The Project aims to support the improvement of teacher education, including pre- and in-service teacher training, at the three levels of the governance in Nepal. ",

"The Contracting Authority aims to procure Technical Assistance to the Project. The Technical Assistance consists of following long-term personnel: ",

"- Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) who will work for 55,5-person months.",
"- International Expert in Inclusive Education who will work for 31,5-person months.",
"- International Expert in Teachers\u2019 Professional Development (TPD) who will work for 42-person months.",

"In addition, the project staff will include a financial manager and a monitoring and evaluation officer, as well as support staff such as secretaries, financial\/ administrative assistants and drivers. Short-term experts are also used. Further information is provided in the Annex 1, TECSES Project Document.",

"Service Provider must also provide a Home Office Support Services to the Project. This includes e.g. recruitment of the required experts, support for the establishment of the Project Office and the management mechanisms with the Project\u2019s implementation team, as well as the development and organization of the Project\u2019s financial administration and controls.",

"The maximum value for the fees of the contract is 3 944 800 Euros, (VAT excluded). ",

"Customer will select one (1) service provider with whom the Procurement Contract will be signed. ",

"The contract period is 5 years. The contract period starts from the signing of the contract. ",

"The Contracting Authority reserves a right to extend the contract after the five-year contract period if there is still budget available to continue the project. The Contracting Authority has a right to decide whether to use the option or not. The decision to extend the contract will be made within three years of the decision.",
