Yle has multiple different media formats that require transcoding. In target state, the transcoding platform should ingest a large variety of media files that are common in broadcasting business. When source files have been ingested, main functionalities that Yle wishes from transcoding service are source analysis, per-title encoding, Quality control settings and configuration optimizations to improve quality and efficiency.
