            "Most of the turnouts in Finnish rail network are really stiff structures, which are designed in the \u00b490s. These structures cannot anymore completely satisfy the current needs, which are forcing the turnouts to bear more loads and enable higher speeds. This has raised new structural needs for single 60E1-turnouts, which can be used in conventional track and also in high-speed track.",

            "Objectives of this procurement is to receive the designs and drawings of new generation 60E1-300E-1:9 and 60E1-900E-1:18M turnouts (marked with X in the list below) so that in future those can be used as a reference structure for the other 60E1-turnout types. Geometrical design (curve radius and crossing ratio) should remain the same as in current turnouts, so only new structural design is needed.
