"General description of the Library Services Platform (LSP):\n\nThe libraries involved in the acquisition cooperation tender together the LSP, which contains the tools for the management of printed and e-resources. LSP enables the libraries to perform their services, both internally and externally, and offer APIs for interoperability and custom development. The LSP simplifies library operations through a more inclusive platform designed to handle all the different forms of content (digital as well as printed).\n\nThe LSP shall contain the following parts\/functions: \n\n\u2022 Tools for the fulfillment services (physical material circulation processes and accessibility for electronic and digital material)\n\u2022 Search system for the staff needs \n\u2022 Acquisition tools for printed and e-resources \n\u2022 Tools for managing the collections\n\u2022 Cataloguing environment for metadata production \n\u2022 Metadata reserves of the libraries and the consortiums \n\u2022 The system administrator's interface and tools for the technical management of the LSP\n\u2022\tTools for resource usage etc. analytics\n\u2022\tThe platform offers APIs with sufficient properties to connect the LSP to the external systems such as \no Customer interface\/(s)\no The information systems of the host organizations of the libraries (e.g., the student register)\no National service architecture \no External (meta) data reserves \no Systems of the suppliers of printed and e-resources\no Self-service devices \nThe LSP contains an interface or interfaces for the use of the library staff. \n\nThe platform shall enable the flexible handling of both printed and electronic resources and management of the licensing information of e-resources. The platform can be connected to the information system environment of the libraries. \n\nWe ask for the tender of a LSP-specific optional discovery interface, which the libraries can optionally separately decide to acquire into their use. "Option 1: A tenderer is required to give also a separate price for database merges for the following consortium members in case they decide to purchase a database merging service from the winner:\n\n1.
